Anyway, we have been up to the same old stuff here. I lost my camera for a week or so (it was in the wrong electronic basket) and so I wasn't able to get pictures of us when we went to Turtle River to have hobo dinners and smores. It was a lot of fun! We went with our friends the Guissons, and they were great. Even when our kids were crying for like most of the time. The dinners were wonderful though, I have only ever had potatoes carrots, and hamburger in a hobo dinner, but they had squash and green bell peppers as well and it was good! Being out there made me excited for when we will be able to go camping for real again too. I would also love to go backpacking someday with Chris, here's hoping.
Then here are some cute pictures of the gang. Chris was laying with Layla and Eve wanted to join in.
And this is how I found Chris and Layla when I went to tell them that dinner was ready, poor Chris he almost never gets enough sleep, since we stay up so late and then he gets up so early for school. Which by the way he is doing amazing in!!! I am so proud of him, he works hard and it is really paying off!
This is what Eve found herself doing today while I fed Layla. Haha she actually would get all the way in and close the door, then sit there till I would come and find her. She sat in there for a few minuets while I finished feeding Layla too, just waiting and waiting till I came. What a cute dork.Oh and did you notice how she had to pull every pan out? There were more all over the kitchen floor, they just aren't in the picture.
She puts my shoes on all the time and it is so cute! It is also so amazing how much she is learning from watching me, and kind of scary too, haha. She mimics me a lot. She likes to "put" on makeup and she uses the right brush with the right makeup. She also like to feed Layla. We started feeding her a bottle and Eve tried to hold it for her, even though she really can't, it's cute. She is also learning so many new words and I can tell she is really understanding us a lot more too. Which is nice!
These videos show how she mimics me. (I can't remember why there are two but the second one is just a few seconds after the first one finishes.) She says "gotta go" a lot, which is what I say, although I don't think she says it in this one.
So cute! I can't believe how big Eve is getting! Oh my goodness she is such a doll!
